Accounts and cookies

There is no account system on this site. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into. The site itself sets no cookies. Nothing tracks a visitor from one page to the next or from one visit to the next.

Scripts

No tracking scripts run on any page. No analytics pixel, no advertising script. A small amount of JavaScript exists on two tool pages to make a table sortable, and it runs entirely in the browser without sending anything back to us. Fridge magnet tools explains what that script does and does not do.

Server logs

The host that serves this site keeps standard server logs, the kind any web server keeps by default: the page requested, the browser reported, and the IP address the request came from. Those logs are kept for a short period to keep the site running and to catch abuse, then rotated out. We do not compile them into a profile of any visitor.

Fonts

Pages load type from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google's servers directly from a visitor's browser, and it receives the visitor's IP address as part of loading the font file, the same as any third-party resource would.

Outbound links

A link to a seller on this site is a plain link. No tracking parameter is appended to it, and no commission is earned if a purchase follows a click. Once a visitor leaves this site, the seller's own privacy policy governs what happens next, not this one.
